Wayne is a certified Flexibility Therapist trained by the Stretch To Win Institute and holds certifications in Power Pilates and Neuro Core Kinetics.
His introduction to Pilates came as a result of pulling his hamstring in the 2000 Olympic trials, which led to therapy that incorporated Pilates exercises. Quickly, he recognized not only the therapeutic benefit it offered for his injury, but the beneficial impact it had on his training, improving both his speed, flexibility and strength.
Since 2004, he has trained everyone from professional athletes to stay at home mothers. His motivating and upbeat method of teaching will help you reach each of your fitness goals!
Wayne graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Recreation Administration from Oral Roberts University and has competed in track and field events earning both NCAA All-American athlete and Mid-Continent Conference Champion titles.
Lauren or “Coach L.” is a former professional athlete representing the United States internationally in the 100-meter hurdles and has over 10 years of formal dance training. “Coach L” is a certified personal trainer and a track and field coach. Looking for another way to maintain her strength and flexibility, Lauren discovered Pilates. From her practice, her insight increased beyond sport specific Pilates to total wellness. “Coach L.” wanted to apply this knowledge and so she became a certified Pilates instructor through Balanced Body in 2006. "Coach L" graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science. She double minored in nutrition and business administration. “Coach L.” is dedicated to helping others improve their quality of life through health and fitness.
Originally from Vallejo, Ca., Tiffany aka "Unique" has called Houston home ever since her visit during “Hurricane Ike” in 2008. In early 2015, Unique decided to pursue her passion in the fitness world, and began her journey as a Balance Body Certified Pilates Instructor. Although her specialty is Reformer Pilates, Unique has branched out to Group Teaching of Mat Pilates as well. Anyone that knows Unique knows that she is all about positive vibes and motivation. She walks softly but has been known to carry a loud cowbell for encouragement! Recently named amongst the “50 Hottest Houston Trainers”, Unique sees no end in sight for her passion and her Pilates.
Rainey grew up playing all kinds of sports including basketball, softball and tennis. Her athletic career took her to Iowa State University on a softball scholarship where she studied Exercise Science. Halfway through college Rainey was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. As someone who always wanted to be “Superwoman” she made her health a priority and over the net few months made a complete recovery. That is when she found Pilates. “By training properly and teaching my body to move in the most efficient way possible I have power, stability, flexibility and strength.
I want to give that to my clients!”
Rajesh Sekhar was introduced to Yoga 4 years ago and earned his 200 hour international instructor certification while studying at the S-Vyasa Yoga university near the city of Bangalore in India. He specializes in teaching mantra meditation and emphasizes focus & awareness on the internal processes during his sessions. Rajesh is also co-founder of Kinetic Vibez, a program which works with school districts to expose youth to the arts, hip hop music production, and the wonders of Yoga & Meditation.
Claudia is a Houston native that fell in love with fitness through a few twisted turn of events. Coming from a corporate background, training wasn’t really a thought in her “career” life plan, but when life took a few unexpected turns she found a level of inner peace through the art of fitness. Focusing on her physical elevation through fitness, Claudia connected with Hardcore Pilates, after taking classes at the studio for over four years. Not only did Claudia decide to put in work on the reformer, but also decided to step up and train others on what fitness can do for their mind, body and soul!
Alexandra "Alex" Coleman grew up playing multiple sports, including volleyball, basketball and track & field. She graduated from Rice University in 2009 with a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and competed on the Women’s Track and Field team for Rice while there. In 2016, Alex found about HardCore Pilates from a friend who'd been taking classes for awhile. After her first class, Alex was eager to join the HardCore team in any way! Alex is actively pursuing a license as a Physical Therapist Assistant from Houston Community College. Alex loves that she gets to help other people maximize their potential through health and fitness.
